STRIVE’s Got Talent
Members of our STRIVE day program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities brought their A games while performing in a recent talent show. Several members sang popular songs including “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Thriller,” and “Livin’ la Vida Loca” to an enthusiastic audience of fellow members and staff. Other participants showed off their amazing ball twirling skills, shared their knowledge about animals and performed interesting science experiments. Everyone had a fun time, and the show ended with a joy filled group dance.
The talent show helps the members increase their confidence and learn to express themselves in a safe, encouraging, and supportive environment.
