Services for Families Caring for Loved Ones

Kinship caregivers are people who have taken on the responsibility of caring for their relatives’ children. These children might be the caregiver’s siblings, nieces, nephews, or, most often, grandchildren.  In 2017, 32 percent of all children in foster care were staying in the home of a relative.

At Children’s Aid and Family Services we provide the following support for kinship families:

There is no fee charged for services that include individual and/or family therapy, educational and wraparound support.
