Jo Ponticello, LCSW, Appointed Vice President of Children’s Services
Jo Ponticello, LCSW is joining Children’s Aid and Family Services as Vice President of Children’s Services, effective immediately. Jo comes to the agency after serving as the Chief Operations Officer for Family Intervention Services in East Orange for the past two years. In that role, she guided all aspects of the agency’s daily operations and managed a staff of 125 administrative and clinical professionals. Prior to that position, Jo was the Director of Operations for Families and Community Together in Mountainside for over 18 years. While in that role, Jo developed the Union County Care Management Organization (CMO). Under her leadership, the agency developed a strong presence with local schools, the family court and with child protection services.
Jo holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from NYU, is a licensed clinical social worker, has a certificate in Family Therapy from the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, and she holds a certificate in Alcohol Studies from Rutgers University.
