Drug-Free Community Grant Awarded to The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources to Expand Bogota Advisory Committee on Substance Abuse

November 6, 2023 – (Fair Lawn, NJ) The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources, a Program of Children’s Aid and Family Services, was awarded a Drug-Free Community Grant from the Office of National Drug Control Policy and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). The $125,000 grant, awarded over five years, will be used to expand the Bogota Advisory Committee on Substance Abuse (BACSA). It was effective October 1, 2023.

The BACSA is committed to coordinating resources and activities to help educate Bogota residents on ways to prevent drug and alcohol misuse and to provide information and education as to where they can find help with problems related to drugs and alcohol.
