COVID-19 Vaccinations for Staff and Clients
Recently, Children’s Aid and Family Services’ frontline staff and individuals with special needs began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Generally, individuals with disabilities are at greater risk of contracting severe illness from the coronavirus. Many of them depend on other people for assistance and are unable to socially distance, especially if they are living in a congregate care setting, such as those we serve. We are grateful to be able to protect the health and safety of our dedicated staff and those we serve and hope for brighter days ahead.
