Art Appreciation

Members of STRIVE, our day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, hosted an art exhibit of their work in April. A happy attendee shared with us that one of the pieces she purchased, a shark illustration by member Daniel Bloch, is adorning a wall of the therapy room at her school and the children love it. What a wonderful way to share the member’s gifts and talents with others in the community!

The Art Show began with a ribbon cutting by Paul Aronsohn, New Jersey State Ombudsman for Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and their Families and ended with a fun and lively auction. Read more about the wonderful event here.
