Do you remember the feeling you had as you packed your new backpack full of school supplies in September, and you just knew it was going to be a great year? For the low-income families that we serve, back-to-school season can be a time of concern.
Low-income families struggling
Inflation has made financial matters even more stressful for low-income families who are juggling expenses on a limited budget. According to the National Retail Federation, 38% of consumers said they are cutting back spending in other areas to cover the cost of purchasing items for the upcoming school year. You can help them focus — free of worry — on their children’s learning by donating to our back-to-school drive.
