Children’s Aid and Family Services hosts 125th anniversary
(Paramus, NJ) October 14, 2024 – Children’s Aid and Family Services hosted its 125th anniversary gala on October 4, 2024, at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes. A Night Among the Stars was supported by 38 sponsors, attended by more than 200 guests, and was hosted by the agency’s CEO, Shavonda Sumter, and Board Chair, Ridgewood resident Dennis Martin. Proceeds from the event will benefit programs that support vulnerable children, adults and families.
Honored at A Night Among the Stars were the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, Thomas Sullivan, Bergen County Commissioner and President of IBEW 164 and C. Tyler Mathisen, CNBC VP and host of “Power Lunch.”
A Night Among the Stars sponsors included Hard Rock and The Casino Association of NJ, Maureen and Dennis Martin, The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, Leanne and Stuart Hinchen and TD Bank.
