Your experience could help save lives! The recovery coach academy is seeking addicts who have been drug-free for three years and who will participate in a 30-hour training program and provide on-call coverage in local emergency rooms. The idea is to start a conversation about treatment, initiated by someone who remains active in the recovery community, attend 12-step meetings and provide contact follow-up for at least 60 days.
Those interested in coaching should call the Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources, a program of Children’s Aid and Family Services, at 201-740-7069.
