KinKonnect is an information center for kinship families.
KinKonnect provides information, support, resources and event listings for those families who are taking care of relative’s children through kinship, or have obtained Kinship Legal Guardianship (KLG) of children placed in their home.
Services include:
- Comprehensive state-wide resource directory including support groups, medical and mental health professionals, camps and more.
- Toll-Free Warm Line number providing information, resources and an empathic ear at (877) KLG-LINE (877-554-5463) or through email at warmline@kinkonnect.org
- Free Lending Library featuring an extensive collection of Kinship Care related books, videos and articles. Our unique free library provides an opportunity for you to browse online and select items to be conveniently shipped to your home at no charge. When you are done with your items, just use the provided pre-paid postage labels to return them!
- Caregiver workshops and training for kinship caregivers, support groups, and more. To view current topics, visit the Conferences & Trainings tab on the KinKonnect home page (www.kinkonnect.org) and select Caregiver Training.
