Free Caregivers Conference
Attention friends, family members, and others who provide unpaid care to Bergen’s older adults. The free Caregivers Conference is on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Bergen County Administration Building, One Bergen County Plaza, 1st Floor in Hackensack. You can stay for the entire program or attend one or two sessions.
Featured speakers include:
– Shavonda E. Sumter, President and CEO of Children’s Aid and Family Services, who will present “Avoiding Social Isolation”
– Tess Tomasi, Information & Assistance Supervisor, Division of Senior Services, who will present “Introduction to Programs and Services for Seniors in Bergen County”
– Anna Navatta Esq., Northeast New Jersey Legal Services who will present “Legal Considerations”
– Kristine Allen, who will present “Coping with Challenging Situations in Dementia Care”
