DESCRIPTION:SHARE THE LOVE this February by participating in our community diaper drive to benefit local families in our Baby Basics program.\nBaby Basics provides free nutritional formula and diapers for babies\, newborn through two years of age\, along with a safety net of emotional support and referrals for low-income families in Bergen\, Essex and Passaic Counties. \n     \nDIAPER NEED\, the struggle to provide babies with clean\, dry diapers\, negatively impacts childrens’ health\, parents’ mental well-being and families’ economic stability. \nYou can help end diaper need by supporting Baby Basics individually or by partnering with your school\, scout troop\, co-workers\, religious organization or business.\nHow You Can Help:\n\nPlace a donation box at your library\, school or organization for donors to drop off diapers. A personalized remembrance card will be sent to a family member in memory of a beloved father. \nThese special cards will also contain a QR Code for your loved one(s) to easily link to our Fathers Being Honored and Remembered webpage which will list the names of all the fabulous dads being celebrated. \nYour gift will celebrate and support the diverse group of fathers in the Children’s Aid family\, including: Foster fathers who open their hearts and homes to children who have suffered from abuse\, neglect and trauma; fathers whose adult children have intellectual and developmental disabilities and need a strong support system to help their children become more independent; fathers who are struggling with the devastating disease of addiction; and young fathers who have “aged out” of foster care and are working on educational and career goals to help them create better lives for themselves and their children. \nBy making an individual gift\, you are helping to provide: \n\nScholarships for educational or vocational training for young dads aging out of foster care\nSpecialized training for our therapeutic foster parents\nDiapers and baby essentials to families in need\nFree support services for fathers who are suffering from the disease of addiction\nWorkshops to help strengthen families\n\nBy becoming a PARTNER\, you can support the initiative on a leadership level like sponsors of our events.  \nPartners will be recognized in all Honor a Father\, Help Another communications including weekly emails to over 2\,500 active supporters and on social media posts. Partner Names/Logos will also appear on our Fathers Being Honored and Remembered webpage on cafsnj.org. Each Partnership level is invited to celebrate the special fathers in their lives. \n  \nBeginning June 1st\, 2023\, the names of all the special dads being celebrated\, and those of our Partners\, will be posted and available for viewing on our Fathers Being Honored and Remembered webpage. Names will be added on an ongoing basis. Please consider making a gift before June 9th. We want these special dads to receive their cards before Father’s Day!
