DESCRIPTION:This Mother’s Day\, celebrate a special mother in your life by making a gift in her honor or in her memory to Children’s Aid and Family Services. \nIn grateful acknowledgement of your gift\, your mom\, children’s mom\, grandmother\, aunt\, sister\, sister-in-law or friend will receive a personalized Mother’s Day card from Children’s Aid\, letting her know that she is helping other moms in the community to build brighter futures for themselves and their families. A personalized remembrance card will be sent to a family member in memory of a beloved mother. \nThese special cards will also contain a QR Code for your loved one(s) to easily link to our Mothers Being Honored and Remembered webpage which will list the names of all the fabulous moms being celebrated. \nYour gift will celebrate and support the diverse group of  mothers in the Children’s Aid family\, including: Foster mothers who open their hearts and homes to children who have suffered from abuse\, neglect and trauma; mothers whose adult children have intellectual and developmental disabilities and need a strong support system to help their children become more independent; mothers whose children are struggling with the devastating disease of addiction; and young mothers who have “aged out” of foster care and are working on educational and career goals to help them create better lives for themselves and their children. \nBy making an individual gift\, you are helping to provide: \n\nSponsorships for educational or vocational training for young moms aging out of foster care\nSpecialized training for our therapeutic foster parents\,\nDiapers and baby essentials to families in need\nFree support services for mothers with children suffering from the disease of addiction\nCounseling for an adoptive mother\n\nBy becoming a PARTNER\, you can support the initiative on a leadership level like sponsors of our events.  \nPartners will be recognized in all Celebrate a Mother\, Support Another communications including weekly emails to over 2\,000 active supporter and on social media posts. Partner Names/Logos will also appear on our Mothers Being Honored and Remembered webpage on cafsnj.org. Names will be added on an ongoing basis. Please consider making a gift before April 30th.  We want these special moms to receive their cards before Mother’s Day!
