Busterstock Returns August 29th
Free Concert to Raise Awareness and Funds to Help End Addiction

(Paramus, NJ) August 4, 2026 – A local family’s mission to honor their son and help save lives will continue on Saturday, August 29, when the fourth annual Busterstock concert brings the community together for an evening of live music, remembrance, and hope. Community members of all ages are invited to attend the free outdoor concert:

When: Saturday, August 29, 2026, 7:00–10:00 p.m.
(Raindate Sunday, August 30 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.)

Where: Paramus Library Bandshell, 116 E. Century Road, Paramus, NJ

Donations made during the evening will benefit the Buster Spike Lucky Elkin Marri Love & Luck Fund, which supports Children’s Aid and Family Services’ substance misuse prevention, education, and recovery. The fund was created by Buster’s family after he died from a fentanyl overdose in 2021 at the age of 24.

The fund also helps purchase and distribute Buster Boxes, newspaper-style dispensers that provide free Narcan throughout Bergen County. Today, Buster Boxes are located in 15 Bergen County communities, making Narcan more readily available to anyone who may need it in an emergency.

The evening will feature live music by Marri & Friends, food trucks, merchandise, addiction recovery resources, and community organizations committed to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use.

“Community partnerships like the Buster Fund help us expand access to prevention education and life-saving resources,” said Shavonda Sumter, President and CEO of Children’s Aid and Family Services. “Together, we are raising awareness, reducing stigma, and helping make our communities safer.”
