(Paramus, NJ) November 29, 2012 – Bonim Builders, a project of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey (JFNNJ), teamed up with Lowes of Paramus, Rebuilding Together Bergen County, and the Benjamin Moore Company, to give a makeover to Paramus-based Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center, a division of Children’s Aid and Family Services.

Work included a coat of paint in the hallways and classrooms of the Turrell Center, which serves children from 8 weeks to Kindergarten and offers an age-appropriate, comprehensive curriculum. The Turrell Center provides scholarships to approximately 50 percent of the families whose children attend. Bonim Builders (www.jfnnj.org/bonim) utilizes volunteers to perform critical repairs and renovations for qualified low-income families in northern New Jersey. Bonim Builders also assists other local non-profit organizations in need of help. Bonim Builders enjoyed the help of volunteers from the employees at Lowes of Paramus. In addition, materials for the project were generously donated by Lowes of Paramus and the Benjamin Moore Company.
