Paramus, NJ) October 2, 2013 –   Children’s Aid and Family Services is honoring Ridgewood residents Bernadette and Michael Davis and Carol and Jim Whaley for their dedication to the agency and the community at its annual Wine and Food Tasting Evening. This year’s event is on Saturday, November 2, from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. at the Indian Trail Club, 830 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. The event is being emceed by CNBC anchor Tyler Mathisen.

Mrs. Whaley serves on Children’s Aid and Family Services’ Board of Trustees, and has been involved with the agency since 1998. Both she and Mrs. Davis are longtime members of the agency’s special events committee. “Carol and Bernadette’s creativity and hard work help to ensure that our fundraisers are successful,” says Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO. “They care passionately about the wellbeing of our children in foster care and those with autism, and the many other vulnerable children and families that we serve. They are the consummate event planners and have supported many organizations in their fundraising efforts.”

Both couples have been major supporters of the agency for many years, and in addition, Jim Whaley serves on Children’s Aid and Family Services’ Investment Committee.
