(Paramus, NJ) February 11, 2014 –Children’s Aid and Family Services will again be a beneficiary of proceeds from the 2014 Barclays PGA Tour, which will be held August 18 – 24 at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. The agency is seeking volunteers to help at the tournament in roles ranging from welcoming attendees to working in the tournament office to keeping score, and will pay the $65 volunteer fee for each of its volunteers. Each volunteer will receive a logoed polo shirt, a weekly general admission ticket to the Barclays, a guest ticket, and all meals while volunteering, as well as an invitation to a volunteer party.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for us to raise more funds to help the vulnerable children and families we serve,” says Liz Mason, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer. “But we need help from people in the community that enjoy golf or would just like to get involved in a fun and high-profile event. The more volunteers that we bring to the event, the more support we will receive from the PGA Tour to support our mission.”
