The Depot Gift Shop is operated entirely by volunteers. It is currently seeking volunteers to either work a 3 ½-hour shift every other week (from Monday through Friday) or a 3 ½-hour shift per month (on Saturday). Featuring home and garden accessories, unique gifts, American-made handcrafts, women’s and children’s accessories, and personalized service, The Depot is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. During the past half-century, it has donated more than $3 million to nonprofit Children’s Aid and Family Services. Volunteering at The Depot provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the retail environment, make new friends, and give back to the community. The Depot is located at 22 Prospect Street in Midland Park.
