Often in our lives, as adults and parents, we are faced with challenges concerning ways to strengthen our families, help our children cope, navigate the everyday transitions in life, and for some, manage issues concerning adoption. Where to turn for support can be a bigger challenge as there are limited resources and facilities to address these specific family issues.
Services we offer:
- Information & Referral Services - identifying needs and direct individuals, families and other service providers to appropriate Community Resources and services.
- Trauma and Crisis Services - triage assessment and intervention provided at times of individual and community crisis.
- Post Adoption Counseling Services (PACS) for children, teens, parents and families. PACS staff provides counseling and resources for families involved in the adoption process, available to any adoptive family within Bergen, Essex and Passaic County. The PACS clinical team provides family, individual and group counseling using today's most effective therapeutic techniques, including life book, identity work, and child play therapy.
