An Evening of Networking for Paramus-based Organizations and Businesses!

Please join us for an informal networking event that will include a brief presentation by Bob Jones, Ph.D, President & CEO, on the work of Children’s Aid and Family Services, a Paramus not-for-profit organization.  The evening will provide an opportunity to find out more about the agency’s services in the Paramus area.

St. Patrick's Day at Turrell

Children attending Paramus-based Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with cupcakes from Teaneck-based Zoe’s Cupcake Café. The luck of the Irish was with the children as they wore emerald green and set up “leprechaun traps” in the classrooms, which are green nets baited with cookies and glittery items to catch the leprechaun’s eye.

On Monday, March 10th, Becton Dickinson (BD) celebrated Read Across America Day with our Turrell Child Care and Early Learning Center! Volunteers donned Dr. Seuss hats to host story time with seven classrooms, as well as generously providing copies of popular Dr. Seuss books, such as One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and Green Eggs and Ham, to the children. Thank you to BD for your continued support of Children's Aid and Family Services.

Savvy Chic Consignment Boutique in Ridgewood is hosting a grand relocation shopping celebration event on Thursday, March 20 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., with a portion of all sales to benefit Zoe’s Place, a program of Children’s Aid and Family Services. The mission of Zoe’s Place is to provide safe, supervised housing for pregnant teens and teen moms and their children, and to meet the need for critical education, skills and support services that will enable the teens to become self-sufficient.

Baby Basics Program Receives Grant

(Paramus, NJ) February 14, 2014 – Children’s Aid and Family Services’ Baby Basics program relies on community support to provide free nutritional formula and diapers to low-income families with children ages newborn through 2 years. The agency recently received donations from West Side Presbyterian Church, CME Group Community Foundation, the Investors Foundation and St. Elizabeth’s Church in Ridgewood for the Baby Basics program.  For more information please read the press release.
